This September 18-19, 2024, NetFella had the incredible privilege of representing Rwanda at the Connect to Connect Africa Summit 2024 in Arusha, Tanzania. The summit, centered on the theme “Meaningful Connectivity,” brought together visionary leaders, tech innovators, and industry experts from across the continent to discuss impactful strategies for Africa’s digital future. For us at NetFella, it was more than a conference—it was an experience filled with insights, inspiration, and exciting new partnerships that will shape our path forward.
Our MD Takes the Stage: Building Digital Resilience
A key moment for us at the summit was seeing our Managing Director, Irasubiza Sadrah, join an esteemed panel to discuss “Digital Resilience.” The panel delved into vital strategies for enhancing digital safety and security in the face of evolving cyber threats. Sadrah shared insights on fortifying digital systems and creating safer online environments for communities across Africa. It was a powerful platform to emphasize our commitment to cybersecurity and data protection, as well as an opportunity to learn from peers tackling similar challenges across the continent.
Strengthening Partnerships for a Shared Vision
Arusha’s C2C Summit was not only about learning; it was a powerful networking experience. We met with potential collaborators and like-minded innovators from across Africa. One of the standout moments from the summit was our conversation with Compucat, where we explored a potential partnership to amplify our efforts in cybersecurity. The discussions were promising, and we are thrilled about the possibilities that lie ahead.
Strengthening partnerships like these is essential to our mission of fostering a skilled and resilient cybersecurity workforce in Africa. These connections are already paving the way for joint initiatives and partnerships that could boost cybersecurity training, research, and advocacy throughout the continent. For NetFella, this aligns with our broader vision of creating a safer digital environment and a skilled cybersecurity workforce in Africa.
